A new version of the site.

The site has a new look and layout. The content and sources are the same, and old addresses still work. What has been added, what is gone and what has moved to the archive.

Home page of the previous version of the site: a dark background, the heading “Public money, public pay” and three cards — draft act, demand, patient rights.
The home page as it looked before 16 October 2026.

On 16 October 2026 we launched a new version of the site. The look and the layout of the pages have changed, not the principles: every figure still has a note with a link to its source, and the materials describe mechanisms, not particular people.

The new version in numbers

Old site addresses
103 work
Pages in the sitemap
60
Content pages
37
Words in the materials
approx. 120,000
Working materials
278 MB
Files changed
831
Infographics
64 files
Cost of AI models
approx. USD 1,100

Each of the 103 addresses of the old site leads to content — directly or through a redirect; an automated test checks this at every release. The working materials are notes, source data and analyses from which the texts are written — they stay outside the site. We used AI language models in the rebuild; approx. USD 1,100 is the cost of using them.

What is new

  • Media kit — infographics to download (in Polish) with the source address and a QR code on each graphic, under the CC BY 4.0 licence.
  • The demand in a new wording — “Public amounts, protected names”: the total pay of each person from all facilities with an NFZ contract, published every quarter under a permanent identifier instead of a name. The previous version spoke of a register by licence number.
  • Draft amendment — the text of the draft (in Polish), which turns the demand into legal provisions.
The “Record payments” page in the previous version: a red box warning that these are not a doctor’s total earnings, and three cards with amounts per hour, month and year.
Record payments in the previous version. The data are the same; the page layout has changed.

What is gone or has moved

  • The petition is now an archive: the letters submitted as PDFs (in Polish). The old petition addresses lead to the archive.
  • The database of links to press articles (addresses /artykuly/) has not been moved. Its addresses lead to the list of analyses.
  • The health reform monitor has been removed. Its address leads to the text on the limit on posts and contracts — the closest topic on the site.
  • The game “Drugi licznik” (“The second meter”) has not been moved to the new version.
The petition page in the previous version: the heading “Send a petition for transparency of doctors’ pay”, a “Send now” button and two addresses — the Ministry of Health and the Senate.
The petition in the previous version. The letters submitted are archived at /postulat/petycja/.
