A game about medical courts and a catalogue of their rulings.
In the game you assess real cases from final rulings of medical courts and compare your penalty with the court’s. The catalogue shows what these courts punish and how: 59 decisions, each with its own page.

The site has two new tools on the professional liability of doctors. Both are in Polish and both use the final rulings that the Supreme Medical Chamber’s portal of rulings (in Polish) has published since 2024.
Game: would you rule like a medical court?
In the game (in Polish) you read what the court established in a real case and choose a penalty from the scale set by the Act on medical chambers — from acquittal to deprivation of the right to practise. Then you see what the court decided, with a short summary of its reasons.
One round is 10 decisions. The game picks them so that the share of cases without a penalty, admonitions, reprimands, fines and more severe penalties is close to actual case law, but with some leeway — every round is different.
Catalogue of rulings
The catalogue (in Polish) collects 59 decisions from 55 rulings of regional medical courts and the Supreme Medical Court. Each case has a summary, the charge, the penalty imposed and the name of the file on the chamber’s portal. Cases can be filtered by penalty, and each has its own page that can be shared by link.
How we describe the cases
We write the descriptions ourselves and keep them more general than the ruling: without places, dates and amounts. We do not give data on the health of the accused or details that would make them identifiable. The catalogue is not a random sample of all rulings and will be expanded.
Statistics on the penalties imposed by medical courts in 2020–2025, compared with Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom, are in the analysis “Poland’s harshest penalty for doctors is almost never imposed”.
